Clients are able to watch the website construction on a live test
server throughout the entire project.
Process
- Initial client meeting to understand the clients products or services. Figure out clients needs, budget, timeline, design likes/dislikes and a color pallete.
- Figure out project budget to see what can be developed within the budget range.
- Create a timeline and milestones for the development stages.
- Design new website architecture, navigation, and user interface design.
- Content development can now commence.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) of the developed content.
- Review of the user interface design.
- Any revisions to the user interface design implemented and finalized.
- Programming of content pages and any applications commence.
- Testing of all navigation links and functionality of any applications.
- Final client website review.
- Upload to host server and testing of entire website.
Additional Process steps if needed.
- Domain name registration and purchase.
- Set up email accounts.
- Application Development (forums, blogs, calendars, databases, forms, etc...)
Note: The client review and revisions of any material developed can take numerous rounds before the client is finally satisfied with the designs.
